Richard Leggin is a licensed architect in the District of Columbia, the state of Maryland, and the state of Virginia. He has significant experience in architecture and construction administration, is a graduate of Duke University and has studied architecture at the Catholic University of America and at North Carolina State University School of Design. Richard has written on the subject of residential and light commercial construction, and his residential projects include new houses, additions and remodeling, historic preservation and adaptive re-use projects, and site planning and design.
Richard Leggin Architects has successfully completed a wide range of highly successful custom residential projects in the metropolitan Washington area. Projects have included new construction and renovation/remodeling of single family residences as well as historic preservation/adaptive reuse of single family residences, condominium buildings and townhouses.
